We begin at the historical city of Kochi, traveling towards the backwaters at Alleppey for a rice boat cruise & staying at a beach villa. A trip to a luxury tented camp along the river Periyar for elephant interaction camps, a journey to the Periyar Tiger Reserve for wildlife safaris and finally to Munnar for light treks amongst the tea gardens.
For those interested in an expanded South Indian itinerary, we cover Karnataka's wonderful wildlife sanctuaries, the Elephant Camp at Dubare and the beautiful coffee estates in Coorg.
